"Fantastically whimsical place with so much to see in the expansive common areas. If I was still a kid, I would've been playing hide and seek with my brother the whole trip. Wasn't a problem for me (I'm 5' 10"), but anyone taller will be crouching in the shower to fit under the unadjustable showerheads (assuming they're the same in each suite). They're old-timey and made for a generation of shorter people."

"Super cute hotel with the friendliest staff ever from front desk to housekeeping. They had the comfiest hotel bed I have slept on and the room was exceptionally clean. My husband and I are looking forward to returning in the future!"
"I loved staying here! I didn’t take any other pictures other than of the door after I taught my partner how to spell aubergine lol It was interesting how the hotel was laid out! Felt like an intriguing labyrinth as I walked up and down staircases. I’ll stay here the next time I have to stay in PT overnight."
"This place is very well located and absolutely beautiful, old but charming and very well maintained. I’m giving four stars because I specifically booked Apt #20, as it met all the requirements we needed to bring our baby and dog. I even checked twice (by message and phone call) to make sure that unit was assigned to us. However, when we arrived, the manager gave us Apt #8 instead. I’m not sure what happened with the one I booked. He..."
"The Palace Hotel feels super good as soon as you step inside- feels historic and full of story, without feeling old, dank, or tired. The whole place looks and feels loved and honored, beautifully cared for while still being comfortable, relaxed, and quietly cool. Old brick, tall windows, vintage details, and so many inviting spaces to sit, read, or just slow down. It feels lived-in in the best way. Our room had a beautiful water view and everything we needed...."
"Recently stayed over Halloween and had such a nice stay. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated in victorian decor and have many details that make it feel special. I got incredible sleep on a high quality matress and everything was especially clean and tidy. The location is prime for enjoying everything Port Townsend. Can't wait to stay again soon!"
"We stayed two nights, and it was really nice. Yes, it's old and yes, there are a lot of stairs but it suited us just fine. It was quiet, absolutely perfect location for walkability around town and the staff were all very nice. Also a nice touch was a charging station in the room. Also having the free parking for hotel guests only behind the hotel was a big bonus."
"Check in was quick and easy. The building is an old 1800’s downtown mix of industrial and antique. Check in was quick and easy on Sunday. Hauling upstairs was a bit difficult—no elevator. The room (20) was nice and clean with somewhat of a view of the water over the building across the street. We enjoyed the Betta Bar across the street. The food was delicious and service was great. The first night was good, but the second night they..."
